c-reactive protein and lactate response to consumption of sodium bicarbonate supplementation and exhaustive in young active

چکیده
background: supplementation usage approach and its effect on fatigue retarding had been focused on by athletes and coaches. the aim of this study was to compare the effect of two acute and chronic loading of sodium bicarbonate supplement on lactate and inflammatory indices after exhaustive aerobic activity in active men. method s : 10 active men were selected and assigned to experimental group. the participants consumed the supplement in two forms of acute and chronic loading of sodium bicarbonate. to determine the amount of lactate and blood crp, blood samples were taken in four stages of prior to exercise test and after two form of supplement usage and also immediately after both exercise test. modified bruce moderate-intensity test were done up to 75% of maximum heart rate as exercise test. results: the results showed that the consumption of bicarbonate in the form of chronic loading inhibited blood lactate accumulation significantly. also in comparison with acute model, chronic loading of sodium bicarbonate increased the duration of activity (p<0.05). the consumption of bicarbonate in the form of two loading models had no significant effect on c-reactive protein (p>0.05). conclusion: it seems that chronic loading of sodium bicarbonate due to improvement of buffering capacity increases retarding of fatigue period and lengthens the time of activity.

Background and Objectives: Strenuous exercises have been shown to induce inflammation. However, consumption of products rich in antioxidants such as vitamin C may enhance this effect. The purpose of this study was to assess effects of vitamin C supplementation on C-reactive protein, lactate and blood pressure following resistance exercise in overweight men. Materials and Methods: In a randomiz...

متن کاملC-REACTIVE PROTEIN RESPONSE IN ANGINA PECTORIS
C-reactive protein (CRP) response was studied in 44 patients with acute angina pectoris admitted to the coronary care unit. 71 % of patients with acute myocardial infarction (MI)had positive CRP test while 73% of patients presumed to have unstable angina pectoris had negative CRP test. This test can be helpful in differentiating between acute MI and unstable angina pectoris.
